Easter Egg Express Train | West Sacramento

Looking for some Easter family fun! Check out the Easter Egg Express Train, a Delightfully Different Way to Spend the Season. Roundtrip on Sacramento’s River Fox Express Includes Easter Egg Hunt for Kids and Bottomless Mimosas and More for Adults on April 1st and 2nd and April 8th and 9th.

An unforgettable Easter-time treat awaits those of all ages who are ready to hop aboard the River Fox train’s Easter Egg Express on April 1st and 2nd and April 8th and 9th. This is a chance to journey on an hourlong, 10-mile round trip through the countryside of Yolo County with springtime views of ivy-covered woodlands, budding orchards and the glistening Sacramento River.

“The Easter Bunny has been keeping an eye on our train and has left treats for both kids and adults to find,” said River Fox Express General Manager Jeffrey Weeks.

Passengers may seat themselves in an indoor or open-air train car while enjoying light snacks available for purchase and, for adults, an extensive selection of delicious Mimosas, craft beer and local wines.

Children are also invited to bring along their own egg baskets (or grab one in the gift shop) for the Easter Egg Hunt happening at the train’s private park along the river.

Festive photo opportunities are also a joyful part of the experience, which averages about two hours in duration. It’s an easy location to reach, just 15 minutes from downtown Sacramento off Interstate 5 (18095 County Road 117, West Sacramento). The River Fox Easter Egg Express runs on April 1 & 2 and April 8 & 9. Tickets are $59.95 for ages three and older; and $10.95 for ages two years and younger.

Our personal favorite thing about DAISO is all the Disney merch they have. I also love at this new location they had a ton of organizational bins and Spring items, perfect to spruce up your patios, and garden areas. Our sons love trying Japanese food and drink items. At DAISO you will see price conversion charts throughout the store and if something is not priced it is $1.75. If you have a Hello Kitty fan in your life, they have a ton of Hello Kitty merch as well as very popular stuffed animals similar to Squishmallows. I also love all the kitchen finds at DAISO!
