My Favorite Artificial Christmas Tree King of Christmas

If you are shopping for an artificial Christmas Tree, check out King of Christmas, I have three different Christmas Trees from them and I absolutely love them. Yes, I have partnered with them and received some of their products in exchange for sharing my opinion, but after having the first tree they sent me. I immediately went and purchased one of their other trees, because I was so impressed with their trees. Since then I have also purchased with my own money garland and lighted branches from them.

I have two King of Christmas trees that are flocked and the quality of the flocking is amazing. I had a flocked tree from Walmart before King of Christmas and the Walmart flocked tree, made a constant mess, not just when getting it out of the box and fluffing it, but literally throughout the entire time it is up, it sheds flocking. My flocked King of Christmas Trees shed a little when getting them out of the box and setting them up but it is so minimal. 

This year I received the 8' King Noble Flock Tree, it is in my bedroom and I absolutely love it. The flocking and real-life style of the King Noble Tree makes my room feel like a winter wonderland. Photos and videos, do not do this tree justice. This tree literally brings joy to my heart as soon as I walk into my bedroom. It is stunning!

King of Christmas trees are so easy to put together, there are no light wires to connect between the pieces and I love that. They require very little fluffing, even the one I have had for five years, it still looks great!

I will say Christmas Trees are an investment. This is why I try to add to my Christmas collection little by little over the years. I save and plan to purchase at least one quality Christmas item each year. When you take into consideration how long you will have your artificial tree, it is totally worth it. I will also recommend shopping when they have sales and special offers. They usually run amazing deals for Black Friday and after the Christmas season, and right now I believe you can use code 100OFF to save on select trees. 

Before I had a King of Christmas Tree, I had a department store tree for 15 years, by year 10 the lights went out. We still used it and just strung lights on it. So I say all that to say when you take into mind that yes you are spending between $300-$500 on a tree but over let's just use 15 years, that is only $33 a year, at the $500 price. When you breakdown, the cost to have something you will love for many years to come, it is totally worth it.

Homemade Cinnamon Roll Recipe

I have been meaning to share this recipe on my blog for quite some time, it is just so much easier to share on my social media pages that I kind of have neglected my blog. 

I shared this Cinnamon Roll Recipe on TikTok and it has almost 400,000 views. I receive comments frequently on that video of people saying they made them and loved them. I love hearing from you all knowing you benefited from a recipe, coupon deal, or local favorite I share. Someone recently commented they made these cinnamon rolls for a baby shower that had a theme a bun in the oven, too cute, love that idea! Thank you for commenting, sharing, and messaging me, I love to connect with you all. It truly brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart when I hear that you enjoy the posts I share.

It was because of a comment from someone looking for a printable version of this recipe that I finally made time to share the recipe here on the blog. Click here for a PDF Printable version of this recipe. I could have just shared the text and screenshots from my video, but when I post a blog post I like to use my good camera and take pictures of the steps. I know I appreciate step-by-step instructions, so I always try to do that in my videos or on my blog posts.

This recipe is really easy to make and once you try these you won't ever want to make the can ones. again. I will add that recently I have started making homemade sourdough bread and if you too have sourdough starter around you can add 1/4 cup of sourdough discard to this recipe and it is a delicious addition.

Since joining the sourdough club, I frequently have sourdough discard to use up and I pretty much have added it to my chocolate chip cookie recipe. I've added it to my banana bread recipe, pretty much anywhere I can and I have always been happy with the results.

Cinnamon Roll Recipe

2 Cups of Flour

1/3 Cup of Sugar

2 Packets of Instant Yeast

1/2 Tsp Salt

Mix Dry Ingredients with a whisk.

To the dry ingredients add:

1 1/2 Cups Water

6 Tablespoons Melted Butter 

1 Egg 

Mix with the dough hook in the stand mixer.

Once combined add 2 Cups of Flour

Put flour on hand and knead.

Place in a bowl with non-stick spray, and let the dough rise for 1 hour.

Cinnamon Mixture 

1 Cup Brown Sugar 

2 Tablespoons Cinnamon 

Sprinkle of Nutmeg 

Punch the dough in the bowl and then dump the dough onto a floured surface. 

Roll out onto a floured surface and cover the dough with softened butter and cinnamon mixture. I used 1/2 a stick of softened butter on the rolled-out dough. 

Roll and slice let sit and rise for 1 hour or overnight in a baking dish sprayed with non-stick spray. 

You can roll the dough and then slice or recently I started using a pizza cutter making slices first and rolling each slice. 

Top Drizzle

6 Tablespoons Melted Butter 

1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 

1 Teaspoon Vanilla 

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon 

Top with 3/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream, then top with the cinnamon top drizzle.

Bake uncovered 350° 25-35 minutes 

Cinnamon Roll Icing

1 Stick Softened Butter 

8 Oz Cream Cheese 

2 cups powdered sugar

2 teaspoons Vanilla

Let them cool for about 10-15  minutes before icing.
