Disclosure: I am a Feld Family Ambassador, and in exchange for my time and efforts in attending shows and reporting my opinion within this blog, as well as keeping you advised of the latest discount offers, Feld Entertainment has provided me with complimentary tickets. Even though I receive these benefits, I always give an opinion that is 100% mine.
Monster Jam® is one of our favorite events, it is an action-packed show with flips, tricks, amazing driving skills, and racing at speeds up to 70 miles per hour to produce jaw-dropping, live motorsports action. All this weekend you can catch Monster Jam® Hurry there are only three shows left, Saturday, January 27th at 1 PM and 7 PM and Sunday, January 28th at 1 PM.
One of my favorite things about Monster Jam® is how interactive it is. The crowd gets into cheering for their favorite truck and drivers. You get to vote for your favorite truck and driver right from your seat with your phone. The energy inside the Golden 1 Center is so exhilarating! It really does take so much skill to maneuver those huge trucks that are 12,000 pounds in such a tight spot.
I also love how the show appeals to kids of all ages and adults of all ages. You will see families with kids as young as one having a blast and you will also see couples on a date night, and groups of young adults enjoying the show as well as older people. It is a fun outing for some weekend fun!
Here are some things to know before you go to Monster Jam®.
It does get really LOUD, so if you have little ones I highly recommend ear protection, like noise-canceling headphones. I would even consider bringing some earplugs for yourself.
The Monster Jam® show usually lasts two hours, there is a short intermission which is a nice break to use the bathroom and get some snacks.
Be sure to have your phone fully charged and bring a portable charger, especially if you like to take videos. When I take videos on my phone, it eats up the battery really quick.
Reserve your parking ahead of time. You can reserve your parking here. at SacPark.org. You can also use the Park Whiz App. We usually park at the Wells Fargo Center or at The Emerald Tower. Both of those locations are a quick short walk to Golden 1 Center.
Golden 1 Center has a no-bag policy. Only small clutches and wallets smaller than 8"x6"x1" are allowed, they are strict on this, so leave your purses and bags at home, or consolidate them into a small fanny pack size bag. They permit infant bags and medical bags. All bags must go through an X-ray machine. The entry line we were in, went rather quickly and smoothly.
The concession stands accept Apple Pay, which I love because then I just need my phone. They had Monster Jam merch and souvenirs for sale as well as snow cones, popcorn, and Golden 1 Center Food (nachos, hot dogs, pizza, and more).
