The Sacramento County Fair opens this weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, May 26-30, 2022! This is honestly one of my favorites, especially if you have young children, it is smaller than the State Fair, the perfect size for little ones, but not too small for big kids and teens.

Fair food is one of the biggest drawcards for us, I mean who doesn't love corn dogs, funnel cakes and all other yummy deep-fried fair treats.

In years past they have quite a few FREE shows, a Captain Jack Sparrow comedy show aka Captain Jack Spareribs, a circus-themed motorcycle show, I am not sure of the free show lineup this year. On their website, they list a Dinosaur show, character visits from Peppa Pig, and PJ Masks. The All Alaskan Racing Pigs, and Great American Duck Races are family favorites. The Extreme Dog Show is back!
