I was invited to attend the opening night of the musical Waitress part of the Broadway on Tour productions at the Sacramento Community Center Theatre downtown, I had an amazing time.  ONLY THREE days left where you can watch Waitress! Catch it through January 5, 2019, and there are more fabulous musicals this 2018-2019 season. For tickets and more information on Broadway on Tour shows visit www.BroadwaySacramento.com.
We were invited by Julie Gallaher from Get on the Map, and SacramentoTop10 she created the #instayelpatweetasnap community if you are a local Influencer I encourage you to check out her site, sign up and get invited to fun events like these.  Here is the link: https://getonthemap.us/instayelpatweetasnap. Our group met at the Hyatt before the show for drinks and snacks.  There are a ton of great restaurants downtown to choose from.  You can also use your Broadway ticket and receive a discount at participating restaurants, find participating restaurants here http://bit.ly/2Rth6ZR.
The music, acting, and humor are all great, they will have you laughing and crying.  I love the music by Sara Bareilles, the songs are catchy and moving.  You can see pictures, interviews and find the latest ticket deals on the Broadway Sacramento Facebook Page.  Meet the cutest little Lulu, Zoey Lack and Bridget Werner, share the role of "Lulu" in the production of Waitress at the Sacramento Theater, December 27th - January 5th (photos from Broadway Sacramento Facebook). I love this set of Broadway on Tour, such a treat right here in Sacramento.

The cast of the Waitress are all AMAZING!!! A little synopsis... Inspired by Adrienne Shelly’s beloved film, and featuring music by Sara Bareilles, the Tony-nominated Broadway musical Waitress tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker, who dreams of a way out of her small town and loveless marriage. A baking contest in a nearby county and the town’s new doctor may offer her a chance at a fresh start, while her fellow waitresses offer their own recipes for happiness. But Jenna must summon the strength and courage to rebuild her own life.

Find the best event parking in Sacramento by booking a parking spot in advance with SacPark. You will have the ability to reserve your spot ahead of time at any City-owned garage or Certified Partner parking facility. I parked at the Capitol Garage at 1133 10th Street and I thought it was a great spot, not too far to walk to the Hyatt and then to the Theater.

Attending Broadway on Tour makes a great date night or girls night out! Last season my sister, mom and I attended Bodyguard here at the Sacramento Community Center Theater. I would love to catch the upcoming Stomp and Disney's Aladdin. I would love to hear from you have you attended Broadway on Tour?  Which show? Which one are you most looking forward to attending?
