You have to visit Ceralism in Old Sacramento, it is one-of-a-kind! Cerealism is a unique immersive cereal-themed dessert bar located at 128 K Street at the Old Sacramento Waterfront. If you are familiar with the area, it is across from the Round Table Pizza. This place is so much fun for families and would make a charming date night location. I highly recommend bringing any out-of-town guests here, they would leave with a ton of memorable photos.

The minute you walk in, there is so much cereal-themed décor. If you are an 80s or 90s kid who grew up with Saturday morning cartoons and cereal, you are going to LOVE this place!

Cerealism not only serves cereal but desserts and drinks as well. You can build your own cereal bowl where you choose up to three cereals and two toppings or you can try one of their specialty creations. A small bowl is $5 and a regular bowl is $7, specialty bowls are $8.50.

I ordered the Captain Caveman, which if you love peanut butter, you want to try this one. One of the staff members recommended it and I am so glad she did because I loved it! It had Cap'n Crunch, Reese's Puffs, Rice Krispies, Honey Nut Cheerios, and the toppings were Reese's Cup, Butterfinger candy, Reese's Drizzle, and Drumstick Ice Cream.

My youngest ordered the Cookie Monster which had Oreo cereal and Cookie Crisp cereal, for toppings, it had Oreos and Mini Chips Ahoy cookies, and it came with Blue Oat Milk.

My son Diego ordered the Carmen Sandiego which had Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Rice Krispies, Churro Cereal, and Cornflakes, for toppings, it had Almonds, Bananas Caramel Apple, Coconut Cookies, and Horchata Milk.

My son Matteo ordered the Rainbow Brite which came with Fruit Loops, Fruity Pebbles, Berry Kix, Cap'N Crunch with Crunch Berries, and Trix Cereal, it was topped with a Cotton Candy Rainbow and mini marshmallows for clouds, and it was served with Pink Oat Milk. My son Manny did a custom Build Your Own  Bowl. They also have oatmeal and gluten-free options.

We shared the Cereal Sushi and the Sand Bucket Drink. The Cereal Sushi was really big and can easily be shared and was a big hit with our group. The Cereal Sushi is created with banana, a crispy crepe wrap, Nutella, chocolate drizzle, and strawberries. If you are going here for a date night, it would be fun to share a large cereal bowl and share the Cereal Sushi. I am not exactly sure what is in the Sand Bucket Drink, but it had a Pineapple Jarritos and tasted like it maybe had some lemonade as well, it also had fresh fruit. The Sand Bucket Drink is such a pretty drink, definitely Instagram-worthy, it was yummy and refreshing.

You can often find holiday-themed treats that are not on the regular menu, they recently had Spiderman-themed menu items so be sure to follow them on Instagram, to see what's new. They also have coffee and hot cocoa and so much more. You can check out their menu on their website here

If you or someone you know loves to take selfies and make videos, this is the place to go, they have so many decorated rooms. They even have a video game room! My boys loved playing Mario Kart! This would be a great spot for a birthday, you can actually book a room for your next event. Whether it's a birthday party, baby shower, business gathering, or team-building event, we have the spot for you.  Choose one of their immersive spaces and book your event here.

Cerealism is open every day except on Tuesdays. Wednesdays & Thursdays hours are 10 AM to 10 PM, Fridays and Saturdays hours are 10 AM to Midnight, and Sundays and Mondays hours are 10 AM to 8 PM. No reservations are needed, just walk in during business hours.

While you are in Old Sacramento be sure to check out all the fun shops and stroll the waterfront area. Exploring Old Sacramento is a great idea for summer family fun. We love browsing in Evangeline's and buying some candy at Candy Heaven. There are too many great places to list them all. Be sure to add Cerealism to your summer bucket list.
