We were invited to Leatherby's Family Creamery to try their Fall special creations, they were all delicious.  Leatherby's is one of our favorite local establishments.  We were so excited to visit on the first weekend they returned to INDOOR DINING.  I love the nostalgic ice cream parlor feel of Leatherby's and I love that the entire family is involved at all the locations.  Patio seating is still available and curbside take out is still available too!  You can find Leatherby's in Antelope at Antelope and Sunrise, 7910 Antelope, the Arden location is at 2333 Arden Way and the Elk Grove location is at 8238 Laguna Blvd.

Our family loves to go to Leatherby's, we look for reasons to celebrate here, good grades, soccer game wins, date nights and even ice cream for dinner nights when dad is working out of town.  We visited this past weekend celebrating our kiddos are going back in-person to school!!! 

Some of the Fall Specials you will find are the Great Pumpkin Sundae (pumpkin ice cream and vanilla cake topped with marshmallow and caramel sauce with whipped cream, candied pecans and cinnamon.  This gives you all the pumpkin feels of Fall.  


The Monster Mash Shake, is a favorite with the kiddos.  Cookie Monster Ice Cream turned spooky with creepy crawling gummies, crushed Oreo and topped with whipped cream. 


New Fall Ice Cream Flavors are the Pumpkin, Pumpkin Oreo and Apple, get them while you can some of these special flavors sell out.  You can also try the Pumpkin Oreo Caffeine Chiller and get you your coffee fix.

Leatherby's is so great about giving back to our local communities.  They have been having "Students Eat Free" days.  Select schools are selected as the school of the week and then students who visit wear their school spirit wear or something fun to represent their school and they receive a FREE kid's burger and fries, no strings attached.  

Voted as number 1 ice cream in Sacramento for over 38 years, their commitment to excellence has remained the same. "Ice Cream brings joy and happiness to all." It was that simple truth that led Dave Leatherby (Daddy Dave), and his wife Sally to open their first Creamery in 1982. Dave Sr. and wife Sally dreamed of a real family business in which all 10 of their children might be able to work together.  Fast forward 38 years...the Leatherby family now owns and operates 3 restaurants, all whilst keeping the same goals in mind.
