Planning to visit Magnolia Market at the Silos in Waco, TX? You'll find something to do for everyone in your family.  There is shopping, food galore, perfect photo spots, a baseball diamond and plenty of outdoor fun.
You can find Magnolia Market at the Silos at 601 Webster in Waco, TX.  They are open Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM.  You'll take Exit 335A, turn on 4th Street, Left on Webster.  There is a parking lot right at the corner that costs $10 or you can find street parking if available.  You can also park further down there are more parking lots and they have a FREE Silo District Trolley that will give you a lift. The Trolley runs every 15-20 minutes. We found street parking and we visited on a busy Saturday afternoon.  While it was busy, there was a steady flow of both people coming and going, it did not seem too packed.

Many people visit to shop the Magnolia store.  When we visited the line to get in was quite long, wrapped around the building, we only had a window of time, so we decided to skip the long lines and find other things to do.  I read and heard from others that while it is a beautiful store, with gorgeous displays that change regularly you can find mostly everything on their online shop ShopMagnolia.  There are more shops than the main Magnolia store, so be sure to check out the smaller shops, there are a bunch near The Old Church area. In the small shops you'll find clothing, home décor and inspiration to bring that Farmhouse style to your home. If you are like me and love a glimpse into behind the scenes, check out behind the scenes how they make the switch from Spring décor to Summer https://youtu.be/FFPkxodjJw8.

The other reason people visit is for the delicious food, I will go into more detail about the food on another post.  I want to make sure you know that reservations must be made well in advance to eat inside the restaurant Magnolia Table.  The restaurant is not at the Silos grounds, it is located at 2132 S. Valley Mills Drive.  Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance, I hear reservations go quick!  Our visit was kind of spontaneous, when I looked into reservations they were all booked. They do take some some walk-ins, but as you can imagine, the line and wait is long.  There are plenty of food options at the Silos Grounds, they have food trucks including their very own that serve food from the Silo bakery and from Magnolia Table, no need to despair if you do not get a reservation.
The other super long line we spotted was to enter the Silos Baking Co. It opens at 9 AM and I hear people start to line up at 7:30 AM.  Other than at the bakery and the Magnolia store, I did not see any other super long lines.
At Magnolia Market you will find a baseball diamond complete with a Concession Stand.  We saw quite a few families playing baseball, and enjoying the field. They have bats and balls available to borrow, you can also bring your own. I love that there are kid-friendly activities, so the entire family can enjoy.  Your husband and kiddos can hang out at the baseball diamond, while you shop and browse.

You will also find a green grassy area, beautiful artificial turf that has bean bag chairs, corn hole games and more.  You can bring a frisbee or your own personal soccer ball.  I saw some people with a small picnic blanket, which is a great idea if you plan on hanging out for awhile.  Such a fun place to hang out with friends and family.

Be sure to visit the Garden area as well as the Seed and Supply Store.  You will find flower growing kits, unique pots and vessels to plant your plants in.  You will find gardening tools and décor for your home garden of course in beautiful Joanna Gaines style.

Magnolia Press is where you want to go for coffee, it is a short walk down the street on 8th Street and Webster. For a peek inside check it out online here Magnolia Press.
There are a ton of spots perfect for a photo.  Plenty of Instagram worthy backgrounds.  Right when you enter near the bakery you will see that photo wall with that popular "Welcome to the Magnolia Silos" signage.

You definitely need to snap a photo under the #MilesToMagnolia which is right in front of one of the large Silos, this too is near the Bakery. I hear there are plans in the future for Chip to open his very own store in one of the Silos. In the Magnolia store I hear they have "Chip's Corner" you can get see many of the products that are Chip approved online Chip's Corner.  I love the idea of having a Silo Store, I am sure the married men who tag along for their wives would greatly appreciate it. I love how they are expanding and continue giving us reasons to keep coming back.
Be sure to snap a photo with or at least of the cute green truck too.
I highly recommend a visit if you are going to be near the Waco area.  Pictures don't do it justice, it is very large, it sits on two and a half acres.  I would recommend you come early morning or late evening, it seems mid-day and lunch time are the busiest times to visit.  I would love to see it towards the evening lit up.

There is an annual #Silobration held here every October where a ton of Vendors come from across the country and share their goods.  I hear they host an after-hours concert during this #Silobration. I am also told December is another popular time to visit, where they have a ticketed concert event and photos with Santa available.  I would love to visit during Christmas and see it all decorated, I love the Christmas season.
As you can see there is plenty to do and you could easily spend a few hours here, if not more if you like to take in all the details and people watch.  There are a lot of picnic tables, some have shade, some do not, be sure to wear sun screen and/or bring a hat to help with the sun.
