Okay y'all it is the season of giving and the season of holiday treats.  Head to Walmart and pick up your favorite Oreo Cookies.  This Holiday season you are going to want to make these Easy NO Bake OREO Cookie Balls. I love making sweet treats and sharing them with family and friends.  It is has become a family tradition to bake and whip up goodies with my kiddos and then gift them to others.  This is an easy way to spread joy and bring a smile to someone.

All you need for this easy recipe is three simple ingredients and sprinkles.  Add these to your cart here: bit.ly/3waAL2L

Ingredients:

Package of Oreo Cookies

8 ounce package of Cream Cheese

Chocolate chips & Sprinkles

You can change these up to make your Oreo Cookie Balls super festive with Fall themed sprinkles, Christmas themed sprinkles or any variety of sprinkles you have on hand.

Directions:

First let the cream cheese come to room temperature.

Place the OREO Cookies in your food processor or blender.  Once in crumbles, reserve a little of the OREO Cookie crumbles for topping later.

With your mixer, blend the cream cheese to make sure it is soft and creamy.

Add to the cream cheese your OREO Cookie crumbles and combine.

Use a mini ice cream scooper to to form into balls, roll in your hands and place on a lined cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Place your rolled OREO cookie balls in the freezer to chill for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Once chilled, dip in your melted chocolate chips. Then sprinkle on your festive sprinkles to bring joy in this season of giving. You have to move quickly once your chocolate is melted, dip and add your sprinkles quickly.

Allow chocolate and sprinkles to set and enjoy! Be sure to save some to share and sprinkle joy on others!

Tips:

I melted my chocolate chips in the microwave, you just have to be patient, and melt in 10-15 second increments, while stirring in between.  You do not want to overheat in the microwave or the chocolate will harden. Remember white chocolate chips melt much quicker, if you overheat it will become hardened and unable to use.

Because you have to move so quickly with melted chocolate, it is a huge help to have your kiddos do the sprinkles quickly.  I found that is what worked best for us.  I dipped the chilled OREO Balls into the melted chocolate, placed them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and they added the sprinkles.

In this season of giving, these sweet treats are sure to bring some joy to someone you know, check out more recipe inspiration at Walmart.com/createsharegive.
