Today I was on Fox 40 News at Noon sharing tips on summer entertaining and how to have a delicious and fun Memorial Day or 4th of July party.

 Our family usually attends our local Memorial Day Parade, many years our boys have participated in our church float.  When we are finished at the parade we usually have friends and family over.  My boys are always hungry and ready to eat so I try to plan on having everything prepared ahead of time.

 Another simple and festive snack is this Patriotic Snack Mix.  Super easy to toss together, it is popcorn, (I used a mix of Kettle Corn and White Cheddar), Pretzels dipped in white chocolate topped with sprinkles and red, white, blue candies.  You could add mini marshmallows and cereals too.
