Broadway at Music Circus 2019 Season | Wells Fargo Pavilion, Sacramento, CA

I was invited to the Broadway Music Circus Subscriber Showcase for the 2019 season. This is the 69th season of Music Circus, WOW! They have a great lineup this season with Shrek, Oklahoma, The Drowsy Chaperone, Guys and Dolls, The Whiz, and In The Heights. We had an amazing time, they gave us complimentary popcorn, water and debuted all the upcoming shows. A performer from each musical performed a couple of songs and shared some background on the musical.

I really was not familiar with the list of shows other than The Whiz, Shrek, and Oklahoma, I was pleasantly surprised with the preview and now I want to see many more than just those. I had never heard of In the Heights, Brandon Contreras is in that and he performed a rap, yes you read right a rap that was phenomenal. Pierce Cassedy is excited to be joining the company of Oklahoma. Kaleigh Cronin is elated to be back at Broadway Music Circus she loved her stay here in Sacramento. Andre Jordan is a proud New Jersey native and totally pumped to be making his Broadway at Music Circus debut in Shrek. Shrek is going to be funny and great for the family. Kids tickets start at $40 (ages 4-12). Evan Harrington is an amazing actor and singer and Jennifer Leigh Warren will be in Shrek and The Whiz she was fantastic, her voice is AMAZING!!!

Broadway in the round is an exhilarating musical theatre experience you can’t get anywhere else! They are doing a fantastic job of developing the next generation and fostering the current generation of talent. The patrons, donors, staff, and volunteers of Sacramento are keeping the musical theatre alive and well, and I am so grateful for that.
