This Sunday, October 10th from Noon to 4 PM enjoy FREE family fun at DOCO Downtown Sacramento. They are having a Carnival Block Party! We love hanging out at DOCO, there is shopping, dining and more! This Sunday, October 10th from Noon to 4 PM this carnival-themed day of fun features interactive games, activities, live music and DJ, strolling performers throughout the plaza, and retailer specials! Plus, enjoy food and beverage options (for purchase) from DOCO eateries and restaurants.

At Impound Comics, they will have kids coloring book activity, giveaways, and a new comic book release. This comic book store features Sacramento's very own superhero, Impound the MMA fighter.

DOCO (Downtown Commons), the Sacramento Kings and Golden 1 Center are excited to announce a fun, free and family-friendly DOCO Block Party scheduled for Sunday, October 10 from 12-4 p.m. The DOCO Block Party follows the Sacramento Kings free Fan Fest and Open Practice happening the day prior as part of a celebratory weekend in anticipation of the upcoming 2021-22 season.
The 2021 DOCO Block Party will have a high-energy carnival theme with a variety of spirited activities taking place throughout the plaza. A sampling of the free activities includes the following:
- Interactive game booths
- An 18’ rock-climbing wall
- A 30' X 30' 4-person bungee jump
- Rides aboard a mini train
- DOCO’s Games on the Green including cornhole, giant tumbling blocks and 4-to-Score
- Strolling performers such as a magician, juggler, stilt walker, unicyclist, and more
- Flatstick Pub’s popular DuffleboardTM game
- Special activations outside Impound Comics such as a kids’ coloring book activity, giveaways for new trading cards, and a new Impound Universe comic book release (the first female solo story)
- Award-winning APPLE Z band performing roots-of-rock classics, revolutionary 80s & 90s tunes and best of today’s dance hits on the main stage in front of Golden 1 Center at 12:30, 1:45 & 3 p.m.
- A talented DJ in the west plaza and live acoustic music on the upper terrace (near Popbar)
- A variety of DOCO retailer offers and one-day-only specials such as a special Carnival Cocktail at Flatstick Pub
- Guests have the opportunity to play Spin the Wheel Game to possibly win prizes such as retailer offers, gift cards, and more!
Plus, parking for a special $5 flat fee is available on October 10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the DOCO West Parking Garage with entrances on L Street and 3rd Street.
