Sacramento Blogger Barbecue Family Fun

This past weekend I was invited to a blogger barbecue get together. Thank you, Ashley and Laura, who put this fun event together. One of my favorite things about these ladies is they are all about collaboration over competition. I am so grateful for their friendliness and love for local community businesses and bloggers. Follow both these ladies on Instagram and you will see their support of our community by shopping local and sharing great local places to eat, you will also see them cheer on our fellow Sacramento bloggers. Thank you, ladies, you are a breath of fresh air!

In this fast-paced world, we live in it can be hard to cultivate friendships, everyone has a lot going on with work, family and more. I am extremely grateful for the effort and hard work that Ashley and Laura put into having us get together. I find just like most things if you do not put it on the calendar and schedule it, six months goes by, a year goes by and although you meant to get together, time slips by. I know in my life a key to my growth and sanity is having people that you can talk to, who will encourage you, inspire you and share their life with you. It is nice to step away from the daily routine, breathe and share a meal and uplifting conversation.

Laura's husband smoked delicious meat from Western Grassfed Beef the meat was absolutely delicious. Western Grassfed Beef provides 100% grass-fed beef, from American Family Ranchers. All those who attended brought sides, green salad, broccoli salad, fruit salad, and more. With our kiddos in attendance there were hot dogs, chips and every little ones favorite, goldfish.

There was a beautiful photo backdrop set up by Dani and Kayla Events These two ladies love sharing the excitement of a party. They are happy to help you add some creative décor and bake wonderful treats to make your event that much more memorable. They cannot wait to make your Pinterest dreams come true! Below is a picture of our little ones in front of the photo backdrop.

I am grateful for all the ladies who attended, there was a variety of influencers who blog full time, influencers who blog as a hobby, single moms, working moms, stay at home moms, moms of teenagers, moms with toddlers, Instagram only influencers and more. Ashley and Laura were kind enough to include our kiddos and husbands, one of my sons attended with me and he had so much fun. The kids were super excited about the bounce house with a basketball hoop that was provided by Astro Jump of Sacramento and I would have to say their favorite part was the ice cream provided by one of our family favorite spots Leatherby's. What a great way to cool off with the warmer weather. If you have a summer birthday party or get together, be sure to keep these options in mind. Renting a bounce house is a great way to keep the kids entertained and ice cream is always a win. I love that Leatherby's can provide individual serving sizes, makes party planning and clean-up easy.
